SPEAKER AT THE 2023 PALI & NJLPIA JOINT CONFERENCE

Introduction

The Pennsylvania Association of Licensed Investigators (PALI) and the New Jersey Licensed Private Investigators Association (NJLPIA) undertook a joint effort this year to organize a quality investigator conference experience.  The conference occurred September 18 & 19, 2023 at the Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia, PA.  The event was attended by approximately 80 investigators.  Educational sessions were presented by nine speakers.  There was ample time for networking.  As usual, karaoke was a hit in the hospitality suite.  A Round Table Panel of veteran investigators discussed some current issues within the investigation industry.

My presentation session

My presentation, “The Armed Active Assailant:  Response Guidelines for the Private Investigator” was the kick-off session for the conference educational component.  The objective of this session was to present considerations for both, unarmed and armed investigators, should they find themselves in the middle of an Armed Active Assailant incident.  It is my sincere hope that the attendees came away from the session more prepared to deal with this unlikely, but critical situation.

Invitation

If you attended this year’s conference, hopefully you found it to be useful and enjoyable.  Join us again at next year’s conference!  If you were not able to attend this year’s conference for one reason or the other, please consider making an appearance next year to participate in the excellent educational and networking opportunities.  Stay safe out there, folks!
