Announcement
I am happy to announce the recent achievement of the BAI – Board Accredited Investigator certification administered by INTELLENET, a global association of highly-experienced investigators and security consultants. The certification demonstrates a commitment to continuing education and improvement toward the goal of maintaining high professional standards in the industry.
Requirements for certification
The requirements for achieving the certification include the following:
1. Applicant must have a minimum of 10 years of verifiable investigative experience.
2. Submit a CV (Curriculum Vitae).
3. Prepare/submit a white paper on any investigative subject. It must be original work and at least 1,000 words in length.
4. Submit five questions, with answers, from the white paper (true/false or multiple choice format).
5. Achieve a passing score on a 100-question written examination on investigation topics.
6. Sit for a peer review by a panel of other BAI’s.
Re-certification process
Now, the work will begin to engage in various professional development activities in order to remain up-to-date and competent in order to achieve re-certification every three years. I look forward to the process.
